Greene to Y&R

peter Greene, former president of Saatchi & Saatchi in Toronto, has been appointed director of account management at Young & Rubicam in New York.

Greene joins forces in New York with another erstwhile head of a Toronto agency, Frank Anfield. Last year, Anfield left y&r in Toronto, where he was president and chief executive officer, to take up the same duties in y&r’s office in the Big Apple.

New retail channel

Retail Network Program of Toronto is hoping to introduce a new advertising and promotional channel on cable TV.

Consumer Savings Network will give retailers and service companies the chance to promote their products through regularly scheduled programming.

Joseph Dolejs was recently named csn’s director of marketing and affiliate relations.
