In-store advertising and promotions firm infoNet Media has launched infoProduce.
The three-sided units combine a large advertising poster with the chance to deliver promotional material such as coupons, contests, recipes and product information.
Each unit is located on the top of plastic bag dispensers in the all-important produce department of supermarkets.
Kraft General Foods, Maple Leaf Foods, Ogilvie Mills and The Seafood Advisory Council, among others, have signed up for the new medium.
InfoProduce is available in more than 1,300 supermarkets, with a weekly reach of more than 16 million shoppers. InfoProduce has 52 start dates.DC
