Musee des beaux-arts of Montreal has awarded its $1.2 million advertising account to Communications bleu blanc rouge.

Five other Montreal agencies also made the short list: Olive Communications, La Boite a Idees, Tam-Tam, rta Publicite, Taxi and Publicite Martin.

Foug, agency for the museum of fine arts for the past five years, did not take part in the review.

Hubert Sacy, bleu blanc rouge senior vice-president of planning and development, says the assignment is one that every Montreal agency covets because it is creatively stimulating and a sure ticket to winning creative awards.

The agency passed the good news on to its other clients along with two tickets to the museum’s current exhibition.

Musee des beaux-arts features two or three different exhibits each month in addition to its permanent collection.

An international kite exhibit has been scheduled for the summer tourist season.
