Air Canada, Wood Gundy
Investment dealer Wood Gundy and Air Canada have teamed up, using the airline’s Privilege magazine to target the former’s clients directly.
Last month, Wood Gundy inserted a four-page advertorial supplement called ‘Investor’s Guide’ in the spring edition of the magazine.
Privilege is published for Air Canada’s highest mileage Aeroplan programs, Gold Club and Maple Leaf Lounges.
The first Wood Gundy insert, in English and French, features a commentary on the international investment scene by the dealer’s vice-president and chief economist, Jeffrey Rubin.
Subsequent editions of Privilege will feature investment and economic topics of interest to individual investors.
A one-page condensed version of Rubin’s commentary appears in this month’s edition of Air Canada’s in-flight magazine, enRoute.
As well as the insert, the agreement gives exclusive rights to place its investment research report, ‘Invest,’ in Air Canada’s Maple Leaf lounges in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
Wood Gundy after-dinner chocolates will be served on the dinner trays of all business flights among the three cities.
