Foodland stays with SMW

SMW Advertising has been awarded the $2.5-million advertising account for Foodland Ontario for a third three-year term.

Foodland Ontario is the branch of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food devoted to marketing Ontario-grown produce.

In May 1992, smw’s last term was extended by a year after the Ontario government put a temporary one-year limit on advertising assignments while it conducted an internal review of its advertising system.

The other Toronto agencies on the short-list were Ambrose Carr Linton Kelly, Geoffrey B. Roche & Partners, Marbury and Vickers & Benson.
