There were 14 gold winners at this year’s Extras, the annual awards presented by the Newspaper Marketing Bureau.
Geoffrey B. Roche & Partners Advertising won three golds, two for Ikea Canada and one for Centel. Winner of two golds was Ogilvy & Mather for its client, Laura Secord.
Also a winner of two gold Extras was Cossette Communication-Marketing, both for Schering Canada.
MacLaren:Lintas took gold twice, the first time for clients Justin & Lauren Riddoch, and the second time for General Motors of Canada.
From Quebec, BCP Strategy-Creativity won two gold Extras. bcp picked up one for its client, Les Epiciers Unis Metro Richelieu, and a second for La Presse newspaper.
Winners of single gold Extras were Scali McCabe Sloves, New York, for its Mercedes-Benz ad; bos for its client, Urgel Bourgie; Echo Advertising & Marketing for its clients, Rob Simpson and Donna Felskie; and Chiat/Day Advertising for the Infiniti division of Nissan Canada. DC
