A new company has started in Toronto to provide full direct marketing services to companies with customer and prospect lists from 250 to 50,000.

Direct Data offers database design and maintenance, consulting, direct mail and fulfilment.

Direct Data says its services are of particular interest to companies which do not have the experience or desire to design and maintain appropriate databases.

Direct Data also has a sales office in Guelph, Ont.

Adwall/Murphy Craig venture

Adwall Advertising Systems, which is rolling out its digital, computer-generated billboards at airports across the country, has signed a deal with Murphy Craig Interactive Media to look after media sales and to provide production and creative services to Adwall.

Adwall is based in Calgary; Murphy Craig in Toronto.

Impact mag signs radio deal

The network radio division of Standard Broadcasting will represent all corporate advertising for Impact magazine.

Impact, a controlled, 100,000-circulation monthly available in record stores and by subscription, is published by pollster and rock and roll entrepreneur Allan Gregg.

Gregg says Standard’s network division – Sound Source – is ‘extremely well-versed’ in mixing corporate advertising and promotions, music, marketing and young demographics.
