John Scullion joined Loyalty Management Group Canada in October 1993 as vice-president and chief financial officer.
Before that, Scullion was cfo of The Rider Travel Group in Toronto.
He graduated with a B. Comm. from the University of Toronto in 1980 and joined accountancy firm Arthur Andersen and became a c.a. in 1982.
In 1988, Scullion left Arthur Andersen as an audit manager to join Rider as its vice-president, finance.
At LMG Canada, he is responsible for financial and strategic planning imperatives for the company.
His other interests include his children, reading, baseball and working out.
‘We have a very unique business opportunity here,’ Scullion says.
‘Our ongoing challenge is to create an environment that fosters new idea generation and that challenges the established processes,’ he says.
