Sound Source, the network radio division of Toronto-based Standard Broadcasting, has secured the exclusive rights to Canadian radio broadcasts and promotions of Woodstock ’94 in Saugerties, n.y.

Jean-Marie Heimrath, vice-president and general manager of Sound Source, says the festival Aug. 13-14 is ‘a dream opportunity’ for any advertiser.

The original Woodstock festival near Bethel, n.y. was held in 1969 on the property of farmer Max Yasgur.

Scheduled to appear at Woodstock ’94 are such acts as Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker and Crosby, Stills and Nash. Cocker and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young performed at the original Woodstock festival.

Quinn buys Docucorp

Direct marketing services company Quinn Data Service has acquired Docucorp Mailing Services, a lettershop production company.

Quinn is based in Mississauga, Ont. Docucorp is located just east of there in Rexdale.

Financial details of the acquisition were not released.
