Terry Fallis has been named president and chief executive officer of Berger & Associates Public Relations, Toronto.
Fallis replaces Robert Baugniet, who moved to Rolls-Royce Industries Canada as vice-president, corporate affairs after 30 years with Berger.
Fallis was previously vice-president at Hill and Knowlton Canada, where he led the provincial affairs account group.
Hill and Knowlton bought Berger this past April.
– Peter Allemang has been promoted from senior vice-president to president of DWA Canada, the Toronto office of sports and lifestyle marketing firm DelWilber + Associates of McLean, Va.
Allemang joined the company in 1990 as vice-president, general manager, and was previously with Core Media of Toronto, which specializes in sport-related media sales.
dwa has five u.s. offices. It has operated in Canada for 10 years, establishing a permanent office six years ago.
– Brian Sheppard has moved to Target Marketing & Communications of St. John’s, Nfld. as copywriter.
Sheppard was previously copywriter with Harrod & Mirlin Advertising of Toronto, where he worked on Moosehead Beer, Levi Strauss, Lufthansa German Airlines and Milk-Bone Dog Biscuits.
