Brad Monk is moving to South Carolina this month as associate creative director for Henderson Advertising.

Monk, senior writer at J. Walter Thompson of Toronto, is best known for ‘the Blues’ campaign for Labatt Breweries of Canada, but has also worked on Kellogg, Warner Lambert and Pepsi-Cola.

Before jwt, Monk was at Miller Myers Bruce Dalla Costa, working on Sony and Speedy Muffler.

– Lorraine Peel will be heading up the IBM PC Company business at FCB Direct as vice-president and group account director.

The direct marketing business is the only part of ibm’s account that is not with Ogilvy & Mather.

Peel was most recently manager, direct marketing and customer service with software maker Borland International. Before that, she was manager of customer service with Ashton-Tate before its merger with Borland in 1991.

– Margus Lee has moved to Weaver Tanner & Miller of Kitchener, Ont. as senior art director.

Lee’s agency career spans more than 20 years, working on accounts such as Jaguar Canada, Dofasco, GO Transit, Dow Chemical, John Deere, Department of Health and Welfare and the Ontario Lottario Corporation.

Since 1983, he has been senior art director with Kelley Advertising in Hamilton.

– Lisa Chicules is the new account supervisor on the Warner-Lambert account at J. Walter Thompson, Toronto.

Chicules was most recently with Leo Burnett, where she was account supervisor on the Procter & Gamble business and some Neilson Cadbury brands.

She started her career in the media department of jwt in 1987 and moved to the account side and DDB Needham from 1989-91.

– David McLaughlin has joined Veritas Communications of Toronto as vice-president, government relations. McLaughlin, former chief of staff and senior advisor to former prime minister Brian Mulroney, also worked for Kim Campbell, Joe Clark and Bernard Valcourt.

Veritas is part of the mdc group of companies.
