A north American realignment of the Taco Bell business has netted Bozell Palmer Bonner of Toronto the Canadian assignment valued at more than $1.5 million.

Bozell Palmer will handle media and creative needs for the chain of Mexican fast-food restaurants.

Although Taco Bell is owned by Pepsico, it is not part of the Pepsico buying group of McKim Media.

The account had been with FCB Canada for the past six years.

Earlier this month, Taco Bell moved its $150 million u.s. business from Foote Cone Belding, San Francisco and split it between two Bozell offices, Costa Mesa, Calif. and New York, and The Richards Group of Dallas.
