The Canadian Direct Marketing Association has refined its logo.

As part of this fall’s Look for the Logo consumer awareness program, the mark now incorporates the association’s acronym.

Carey George of New Region Design, who made the changes, says the new mark integrates cdma with the logo to build a stronger identity for the association. The logo has also been redrawn to appear cleaner and more legible.

The Look for the Logo campaign begins Dec. 15 and includes ads in national magazines and newspapers, as well as package inserts in member mailings.

Focus group research showed consumers want an introduction to companies that abide by the cdma’s code of ethics, and a third party – the association – that can investigate complaints.
