However, had either panel been judging the competition on its own, the result would have been the same.

When averaged, the scores from both panels reveal MacLaren:Lintas to be the favorite.

Had the clients alone chosen the Agency of the Year, MacLaren:Lintas would have taken first place, followed by Cossette Communication-Marketing in second place, and bbdo in third.

Had the agency representatives been judging the competition on their own, the result would have been MacLaren:Lintas in first place, followed by bbdo in second place, and Chiat/Day in third.
