Krupski to head Grey

Andy Krupski is the new president and chief executive officer of Grey Canada.

Strategy has learned that Krupski will be taking over the top position at Grey later this month.

His move comes exactly a year after he joined Canadian-owned Prism Communications as vice-chairman and head of operations.

Before that he was president of J. Walter Thompson in Canada.

Krupski was identified for the position by a New York-based recruitment firm, which has been retained to find a replacement for Ev Elting.

Elting is retiring from Grey in 1996, 20 years after starting with the agency.
