Motorola Canada and Mobius Encryption Technologies of Mississauga, Ont. have joined to design software and hardware to fend off data-stealing hackers during wireless data communications.

‘The ultimate goal of this project is to provide information security that extends from Motorola’s wireless DataTAC communication devices all the way to the desktop computer,’ said Philip C. Deck, president and ceo of Mobius.
