Toronto communications firm Strategic Objectives has won a special United Nations Award for its In the Name of Love – STOP Violence Against Women 1994 public awareness program for The Body Shop Canada.
The award will be presented to Judy Lewis, co-owner and executive vice-president of Strategic Objectives, May 17 at UN headquarters in New York.
The campaign, which in three weeks in March 1994 raised $100,000 for violence prevention programs, has also won top awards from the Canadian Public Relations (Toronto) Society and the International Public Relations Association.
