Air Ontario has announced it will create an annual wine competition for Ontario’s vqa (Vintners Quality Alliance) wines.
Leanne Perreault, manager, sales, planning and corporate communications for the Air Canada regional connector airline, says the competition is a ‘natural partnership’ for Air Ontario.
Modeled on programs in South Africa and New Zealand, the Air Ontario competition will be organized by wine authority Tony Aspler. Judging is in Toronto April 11 by a panel of experts, with an awards dinner, also in Toronto, May 2.
