More Fruit spots loom

Toronto’s Leo Burnett has created three more 15-sec. spots for Fruit of the Loom.

To air on u.s. cable and network tv starting Nov. 25, the spots feature holiday twists on the agency’s highly-praised underwear-on-a-clothesline advertising.

One Christmas spot, entitled ‘Dance of the Sugarplum Fairies,’ features men’s racy underwear. A holiday tune plays as the briefs move across the screen. Finally, a comfortable pair of Fruit of the Looms appears as an announcer says, ‘The Nutcracker. See it ­ don’t experience it.’

The tag line is ‘Have a really, really comfortable Christmas.’
