A story that appeared in Strategy’s Jan. 15 issue (‘CBC.ca leverages mother corp.’s equity’) indicated that, according to Media Metrix Canada figures, the CBC.ca Web site attracted 1.2 million unique at-home users in August 2000. In fact, Media Metrix research shows that the site received 461,000 unique visitors that month.

In the previous issue (‘Are magalogues worth the investment?’ Jan. 1, 2001), it was incorrectly stated that Outlook, a custom magazine produced for Sears Canada, would be dropped on 2.5 million doorsteps this spring, when in fact it will be mailed to 400,000 households.

Strategy regrets these errors.
