CP INTRODUCES CYBER PRINT AD DELIVERY

The Canadian Press, of Toronto, and FastChannel Network, of Belmont, Mass., are launching PrintTaxi-Canada.com – a business-to-business enterprise that will offer advertisers and publishers ‘reliable, instantaneous, cost-effective’ delivery and tracking of print advertising using an Internet-based

application – this summer. PrintTaxiCanada.com is CP’s second venture with Fast-Channel – in October, the duo kicked off SpotTaxiCanada.-com to deliver radio commercials via the Web to broadcasters across Canada.

That service currently serves more than 400 radio stations and advertisers.

For its part, PrintTaxi-Canada.com is designed to give publishers the technology to receive and manage incoming ads and provide agencies with streamlined multimedia distribution at low cost.

In addition, it will provide online tracking and reporting options for ad agencies and publishers

CORNERSTONE ROLLS OUT WEB-BASED DATABASE SERVICE

Toronto-based Cornerstone Web Media recently bowed Cornerstone – WebCapture, a service that combines database management expertise with Web-based customer capture forms.

The service allows direct marketers to capture prospect and customer info into databases that run address management tools, such as Address Accuracy.

The service consists of HTML form development, database design, Web hosting and database capture and storage.

It can be used on Web sites to glean customer info via newsletter subscriptions, contests and surveys; in e-mail prospect campaigns to create online order forms; and in renewal campaigns to allow existing customers to open e-mail with all their information pre-populated in an order form.

BIG BROTHER IS ANALYZING YOUR TRANSACTIONS – AND WILL MAKE YOU AN OFFER…

Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation, has launched the newest version of its Teradata E-Business Analytics suite. It’s designed to enhance the Broadvision e-business apps which allow companies to tap their customer information in data warehouses and to provide personalized offers online, while honoring consumers’ privacy.

Teradata E-Business Analytics suite analyzes the data – gleaned from transactions both online and offline – to uncover big-picture trends and individual customer insights to source and identify opportunities for product offers, special discounts and personalized experiences.

For example, an online travel company could promote its tropical vacation package to a customer who priced flights

to the Bahamas on his or her last visit.
