Carlson Wagonlit Travel has appointed Stephen Outerbridge as VP of industry relations for Canada. Outerbridge, who has held several executive positions at the travel management company, will continue to act as president of subsidiary, Harvey’s Travel, and in his new role will take responsibility for all industry relations activities.

Jamieson Laboratories in Toronto has promoted Kevin Edwards to VP of marketing. Previously director of advertising and communications, Edwards will now be responsible for developing and implementing marketing programs for Jamieson’s health-care products.


Vancouver-based Wasserman & Partners Advertising has promoted Katherine Anderson from strategic services manager to the position of strategic supervisor. She takes responsibility for the London Drugs account.

Two new employees have joined Publicis Canada to head a newly created recruitment advertising division, Publicis Tandem. Jennifer Reedie and Robert Iseman both left Amazon to join the new division, which is located in the agency’s Toronto office and specializes in HR communications.

Go Direct Marketing has appointed two new members to its Vancouver team, and promoted a third. Stephanie Gill and Darlene Koroneos join as account managers. Reg Krake has been promoted from account manager to senior account manager.


Dianne Haywood has been appointed advertising sales and marketing executive of the University of Toronto Magazine. She previously spent 15 years at Reader’s Digest, most recently holding the post of advertising sales account manager.

The Greater Vancouver Radio Group (Rogers Broadcasting) has promoted Keith Pelletier to director of marketing and business development at News 1130 Radio. Previously general sales manager, Pelletier will take a lead in advertising and marketing functions and will direct strategic planning for new business opportunities.

Lori Rosenberg has been hired by Corus Entertainment in Toronto, as VP and general manager of digital channels SCREAM and EdgeTV. She comes from CHCH TV in Hamilton where her job was director of programming.

Andrew Saunders has been appointed VP of integrated sales for the Globe and Mail and associated media products including Globe Interactive and Report on Business Television (ROBTv). Saunders, formerly VP of sales for ROBTv, will manage integrated sales and multi-media marketing initiatives at the Toronto-based publication.

Debra Rother has joined FASHION Magazine as advertising sales director. Rother will be responsible for heading the Toronto, Vancouver and Montreal sales teams. She brings 21 years of sales experience to the position and most recently worked at ADitus Southam Publications.

Editor of the Canadian edition of TIME magazine, George Russell, has been appointed president of TIME CANADA, based in Toronto and New York. Director of marketing, Joan Brehl, and publisher, Marty White, are both promoted to VP positions.
