Perhaps proving that we’re still some way off from the paperless office, new search directory RedTO.com, which serves downtown Toronto, has launched the very corporeal feeling Red Pages. It’s a hefty (568 pages) print version of the Web site featuring businesses listed by service, with its main claim to fame being that it also includes a URL for every listing. Operated by Toronto-based Red Media, RedTO.com has been online for the past year but was in beta and formally launched in August. The Red Pages comes in two flavours, Toronto east and west, and targets a 40+ demo who still find it easier to search and read the old school way. Sigh. That’s what’s next.
