Lowe Roche nabs Biernacki and Mackie

The agency announces the hiring of the creative duo, formerly of TBWAToronto.

Lowe Roche’s creative team just grew by two. The agency has announced the hiring of creative duo Mark Biernacki and Steph Mackie.

Formerly at TBWAToronto, Biernacki and Mackie take over at Lowe Roche for Christina Yu, who left the agency to become EVP, CD at Red Urban. The pair, who have been a team for over 10 years, have done work for clients including Visa, Unilever, Whiskas and Pedigree, for which they produced the viral video ‘Catch,’ which has garnered 2,588,888 views on YouTube.

‘YouTube and places like it are where consumers are today and Steph and Mark get that,’ said Geoffrey Roche, CCO, Lowe Roche, in a release. ‘They’re just what we’re looking for,’ added Stephanie Nerlich, president, Lowe Roche.

The pair comes to Lowe Roche on the heels of the agency’s recent win of the North American business for Crystal Head Vodka and the awarding of increased business on behalf of the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
