StrawberryFrog lands on $20 billion desert lily pad

The New York-based wins the global creative account for Downtown Dubai urban development.

StrawberryFrog, the agency founded by Canadian expat Scott Goodson, has hopped into the United Arab Emirates in a big way.

The New York-based agency recently beat out Saatchi and Saatchi and Young and Rubicam in a three-way pitch that saw it awarded the global creative account for Downtown Dubai, the flagship mega development of global property developer Emaar Properties PJSC. ‘StrawberryFrog demonstrated an incredible understanding of the exciting new world that is taking shape today, the ways which consumers think in this new global environment and the role that Downtown Dubai plays in this culture,’ said Robert Booth, CEO, Emaar North America, in a release.

The work that the agency is developing for the $20 billion 500-acre downtown urban development , which features the world’s largest building, as well as the world’s largest shopping mall, will include multiple media toucpoints, including print ads digital and social media components.
