B!G update: deadline extended a week

We're not pulling your leg. Agencies have until next Friday to submit their B!G ideas for the awards competition.

Everyone loves extensions. So, here’s one more for the work-crazed creatives who haven’t yet gotten around to letting strategy know about a project that transcends advertising.

The B!G Awards is the publication’s annual competition that doesn’t revolve around conventional advertising. It goes beyond ads for print, television, outdoor and all the traditional platforms that were once the bee’s knees of advertising.

Strategy is looking for projects that do not fit the mould created by industry predecessors, but rather redefine it. If you have work that breaks the traditional rules, then send a brief description (two to three sentences) of the project to jhorn@brunico.com before Friday, Aug. 15.

After you’ve indicated your intent to enter, you will be sent a dedicated URL from which to upload your files by the time the submission period closes.

There is no fee to enter and you may submit as many cases as you like. But we do ask that only one case per client be entered.

The submission period will be open Sept. 1 to 8.
