Independent craft brewer Phillips Brewing Co. has chosen Taxi Vancouver to expand the brand.
This is the first agency partnership for the B.C. beer company, and Taxi will focus on “brand planning and architecture that will lead to some consumer-facing work,” according to Mike Leslie, general manager at the agency.
Taxi will also work closely with Phillips’ internal teams, who currently work on design and labelling.
“With our focus being on brewing beer, we don’t always do the best job of telling our beer’s story,” Matt Phillips, the company’s owner, said in a press release, adding that Taxi was chosen for its “proven ability to connect brands with customers on an emotional basis.”
