Match Marketing hires new director

Glenn Young joins the shop to help grow its experiential business in Canada.

Match Marketing Group has added to its leadership, bringing on Glenn Young as director, business development for its experiential marketing practice in Canada, a new role for the agency.

Young has more than 15 years of experience in sports marketing, event management and experiential marketing. He was most recently a partner at 141 Communications Group in Oakville, Ont. Prior to that, he was president of Liquid Nutrition Group, a company that offers juices, other beverages, vitamins and supplements, for four years. He also spent 10 years at International Management Group (IMG) where he became SVP of sports, entertainment and media.

In his new role, based in Toronto, Young will be tasked with building new business and broadening Match’s client base for experiential work in Canada.

Match has offices in Toronto, Montreal, New York, Buffalo, Boston, Baltimore and Boulder. Its clients include Campbell’s, Heineken, Bic, Adidas and Lincoln Motor Company, among others.
