Baird replacing Woods as OAAC board chair

Canada’s outdoor industry has experienced a couple of recent changes.

John Baird, vice-president and general manager of Urban Outdoor Trans Ad in Toronto, has become the chair of the board of directors of the Outdoor Advertising Association of Canada.

Baird had been second vice-chair of the oaac and chair of its communications committee.

Stepping down as board chair of the oaac is David Woods, formerly executive vice-president of Mediacom, also in Toronto.

Woods has a new position in New York as senior vice-president, finance, of Gannett, but has agreed to stay on as a director of the oaac board.

As well as Baird, others on the oaac’s executive are:

– first vice-chair, Randy Otto, Calgary

– second vice-chair, Brian McLean, Toronto

– Treasurer, Bob Craig, Cornwall, Ont.

The directors, apart from Woods, are:
