Life Network rolls out print advertising campaign

The Life Network is using a sampling of its popular shows in a short print campaign to reinforce its ‘tv that helps you get the most out of life’ positioning among the new specialty services.

Four of the five programs to be used are Canadian originals produced for Life: The Training Room, Harrowsmith Country Life, Cross Country Cookin’ and Nature Walk.

The fifth show is u.s.-produced National Geographic on Assignment.

Geddes says Life ran full-page ads in tv listings magazines March 25-26 to get the message out across the country.

The headline in the print ad, prepared by Maclaren Lintas in Toronto, says: ‘Whoever said life has a lot to offer was probably watching these shows.’

Geddes says Life will also run ads in the April and May issues of Select Homes and the June issue of Reader’s Digest.
