One would expect – or, should I say, me would expect? – that editors of a publication of the stature of Strategy would understand basic grammar.

Therefore, when me read the material me submitted for publication as part of the tribute to Frank Palmer (Nov. 28), me was startled to see that I became me (and not even after see) in the second paragraph.

Me was so shook up at the thought that me had made the mistake that me looked back at the original.

To my great relief, me had correctly used I in writing that ‘Frank said I and his five other guests and the dinner organizers would have to be part of a charade.’

Me can only hope that my clients and potential clients don’t think badly of I because of this editing error.
