Last week, Barry Avrich, vice-president of Echo Advertising of Toronto, staged previews of The Madness of Method, his latest short film and the first in which he handles the roles of writer, co-producer and director.
The film is bound for international film screenings and competitions, including WorldFest – Houston International Film Festival.
Avrich formed Boulevard films last year, and has worked with Echo since 1989 on theatre and film accounts. He was with Borden Advertising, Toronto from 1985-89.
Avrich has written three other films and sold two feature screenplays.
