What are bloggers saying about your brand? Toronto-based Brandimensions can tell you – and even hook you up with key influencers in an attempt to alter opinions. The market intelligence firm originally launched in 2001 to identify instances of trademark infringement. Then a couple of years ago, due to client demand, it turned its Brand Protection and Reputation Management program into a marketing tool.
Now, says CEO Bradley Silver, Brandimensions can provide data that helps shape future marketing campaigns. ‘We funnel our search to actionable content through attributes – what the product looks like, how it performs, etc.’
That info is then downloaded into a database and analyzed. Silver gives the example of a TV network that wanted to gauge reaction to its upcoming fall TV schedule. ‘The network now understands how they are perceived.’
Brandimensions also engages bloggers via its Buzz Connect service. ‘We identify influencers within each industry,’ says Silver. ‘We tell them why you’re there and what your intentions are.’
With offices in Singapore, NYC, Cleveland, Chicago and L.A., the firm boasts Fortune 500 clients in the auto, financial services, CPG and pharmaceutical industries, among others.
