Marketers around the globe stayed positive in June and marketing budgets continued to rise, according to the latest Warc report.
The monthly report, which surveyed 1,225 marketing, media and agency executives between June 3 and 13, tracks marketers’ expectations for budgets, trading conditions and staffing levels to create its Global Marketing Index. Internationally, the index was 56.7 (an index of 50 marks no change, while greater than 50 means a positive change in budgets) – a slight decline of 1.3 points from May but nearly a one-point rise over the same time period last year.
Optimism was highest in the Americas for a fourth consecutive month, the report says, with confidence also high in Europe and Asia Pacific.
