The City of Montreal awarded its two-year creative contract to Communications bleu blanc rouge.
The assignment is valued between $1.5 million and $2 million annually, and comes with the option of a third year.
In the pitch with bleu blanc rouge was Challenge, agence-conseil en medias, which will be handling media planning and placement.
Other Montreal agencies on the short-list included incumbent Cossette Communication-Marketing, Allard SMW, Le Groupe Everest and Marketel.
The City of Montreal is the latest of a series of wins for bleu blanc rouge, which includes Berthelet & Leger (St. Hubert and Pasta Fiesta sauces), ICI Paints (jointly with Saatchi & Saatchi), l’Union des producteurs agricoles, Oerlikon Aerospace, and, la Caisse depot et placement du Quebec.
