The Pegasus Awards which honor agencies whose ads appear in Canadian editions of Reader’s Digest were presented last month.
The English-language category was swept by advertising created for Lever Bros.
Ogilvy & Mather of Toronto led the way with the gold award for its litmus test ad for Lever Bros.’ Dove bar soap.
J. Walter Thompson picked up silver and bronze for its work for Wisk detergent.
Allard/SMW of Montreal won the gold award in the French-language edition for Benjamin Moore Paints.
MacLaren:Lintas took silver with more work for Lever Brothers – this time for Sunlight detergent.
The bronze went to Bozell/ Palmer Bonner for Nabisco 100% Bran cereal.
These winners were entered into the fifth annual Reader’s Digest Global Pegasus Awards representing the 41 editions of Reader’s Digest published in 17 languages worldwide.
Of 10,000 entries, 65 made it to the finals. PS
