The reorganization of Toronto-based Grey Canada has resulted in the hiring of 14 new bodies, but the managerial ranks are thinning out.
John Torella leaves the post of vice-president, general manager of Grey Retail this week to join John C. Williams Consultants of Toronto.
Torella’s role will be as principal and senior consultant with the firm that specializes in retail marketing strategy, rather than execution.
Torella has co-authored three books with company head, John Williams.
Denis Decle, senior vice-president, general manager of Grey Advertising, Toronto, will be leaving the agency later this year to pursue a business opportunity in Kenya.
Senior Grey Retail and Grey Toronto staff will now report directly to Ev Elting, president and chief executive officer of Grey Canada. PS
