Deacon Day Advertising has moved into the Toronto offices of Scali McCabe Sloves in preparation for the official launch of the new entity, Lowe S.M.S., early next month.
David Deacon, Deacon Day president and the person in the Lowe S.M.S. management triumvirate who will deal with financial and operational management, says the finishing touches are being put on merger practicalities such as who will buy whom among the companies involved – Deacon Day Advertising, Scali McCabe Sloves Canada and Lowe Canada.
Deacon says The McLauchlan Group, led by Cal McLauchlan, which was previously part of Deacon Day Advertising, did not make the move to the new office.
Deacon says McLauchlan will probably reopen on his own although he adds there is still discussion about whether he will join them.
