Michel Frappier is working with Toronto-based mdc as consultant on a special project for the corporation’s marketing services business.
The time for completion of the project is undetermined, but Miles Nadal, president and chief executive officer, says he hopes it culminates in a long-term relationship for Frappier and mdc.
Frappier was most recently with Thomson Newspaper as senior vice-president, a post he took over in July 1992 and left earlier this year.
Before that he was senior vice-president/Central Canada for Montreal-based Quebecor Group after leaving the post of president and chief operating officer of McCann-Erickson, Toronto in 1990.
Companies in mdc’s marketing services group include advertising, public relations, packaging and promotions companies such as Ambrose Carr Linton Kelly, Black Diamond Incentives, Bryan Mills & Associates, Jeffrey Elliot Communications, LBJ Advertising, Savage Sloan and Strategies International.
