MacKinnon & Associates Marketing Communications has opened its doors in Streetsville, Ont., a town just west of Mississauga.
Agency principal Steven MacKinnon was previously account supervisor at McCaffrey & McCall, Toronto, which closed this past March.
MacKinnon then set up its own company, which was named agency-of-record for former McCaffrey & McCall client Brown-Forman Beverages Worldwide, which includes brands Canadian Mist rye whiskey, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey and Southern Comfort.
MacKinnon has since been named a-o-r for A&E, the Arts & Entertainment Television.
