Michel Dumas, president and chief executive officer of bdds in Montreal, was elected chairman of Worldcom’s Americas Region Group for a two-year term at the semi-annual meeting of the public relations network earlier this month in California.

Richard Emberley, chairman of Bristol Communications of Halifax, was one of three new directors elected to the board.
