Art director Frank Lepre is leaving the Toronto office of Taxi to join Chiat/Day in the new year.

Lepre will be working on a number of the agency’s accounts.

Lepre has been with Taxi since the Toronto office opened nearly two years ago.

He was with Cossette Communication-Marketing for four-and-a-half years before that.

On the account side, Jay Bertram has left Chiat/Day to move to the Toronto office of Cossette as group account director.

Bertram has been with the agency for about six years, most recently as co-managing director.

Steve Hancock, managing partner of Chiat/Day, says he has no immediate plans or need to replace Bertram.

Hancock says a number of key account directors had been hired by the agency over the last few months to work on his accounts and lighten the workload for Bertram.

One of those new hires is Howard Ohori, who has returned to Chiat/Day as account supervisor on the Nissan account.

Ohori was at Doner Schur Peppler, Toronto for the past year on the Honda business, and was with Chiat/Day for nearly four years before that. PS
