Michel Lauzon, president and founding partner of Creations Lauzon, died Jan. 2 after being diagnosed with cancer.
He was 44.
Lauzon began his advertising career with J. Walter Thompson.
He later became creative director of Partenaires en Communication of Montreal, and French creative director of Needham Harper in 1983.
In 1987, he started Creations Lauzon, a marketing communications firm providing French-language creative services to clients and agencies from offices in Montreal and Toronto.
Through Creations Lauzon, he was also French creative director of Schur Peppler from its founding in 1986, and Doner Schur Peppler since 1989.
Lauzon is survived by his wife Ginette and two children.
