Bill Martin, a former group creative director at Young & Rubicam, is now working on a freelance basis for the agency and other clients.
Martin was co-creative director at J. Walter Thompson until 1993 when he joined y&r to team up with Leif Nielsen.
Jane Pritchard, who took over as executive creative director of y&r, Toronto this past March, says she is restructuring the agency’s creative department.
Pritchard says she is looking to hire some intermediate level copywriters and art directors.
She plans to establish at least three groups, in addition to the Ford & Mercury Dealers Association group.
Two of the groups will be headed by Nielsen and Ken Boyd as group creative directors, while Charlie Bishop is in charge of the Ford & Mercury Dealers Association.
