MediTrust HealthCare Services launched a 30-minute infomercial in Ontario last month and will be rolling it out nationally in the next couple of weeks.
This is the first foray into television for the direct-to-consumer mail-order pharmacy.
Northern Lights Direct Response Television of Toronto created the infomercial and will also be editing it into some shortform spots for MediTrust.
The hosted infomercial focuses on the benefits of MediTrust as an alternative to traditional methods of buying prescriptions: price, service, 24-hour telephone ordering and counseling, and home delivery.
Those responding to the infomercial are sent an information package on the company and how to sign up for the service. PS
