DDB loses Johnson in global consolidation

u.s. company S.C. Johnson & Son has consolidated advertising on a worldwide basis with Foote Cone & Belding.

The assignment is valued at US$350 million.

Pat Penman, spokesperson for the Racine, Wisc.-based company, says the consolidation does include the Canadian business currently split between Toronto agencies FCB Canada and DDB Needham, which loses the Windex, Drano and Vanish brands.

fcb already had S.C. Johnson’s insect control (Raid, Off), home care (Pledge, Shout), and personal care (Edge, Skintastic) business. PS
