Stephen Graham, former head of Lowe SMS, is moving to the u.s. to take over as director of international marketing communications for at&t on March 1.
Graham has been president of Lowe SMS since the merger of Scali McCabe Sloves with Lowe’s Deacon Day Advertising in 1993.
Lowe SMS Chairman Gary Prouk is looking to replace Graham within the Canadian industry, but says he will go further afield if he needs to.
Prouk says having four senior vice-president, account directors at the agency means he does not have to rush to fill the post.
Graham joined Scali as president in 1988.
Before that, he was a consultant with CMA Management Consultants, working with clients such as Procter & Gamble, Coca-Cola and Bell Canada.
At at&t, Graham will be responsible for the consumer and small business markets for communication services, wireless and all other related communication services.
