Robin Heisey has joined five-year-old Toronto agency Gee Jeffery & Partners Advertising as a partner, vice-president and creative director.

He comes from Young & Rubicam of Toronto where he was associate creative director.

During his 14 years in the business, Heisey has also worked at Bates Canada, McCann Erickson (now MacLaren McCann), Saatchi & Saatchi and Bozell Palmer Bonner.

Alan Gee, chairman of the agency, is now executive creative director.

They will also be working together as a creative team.

Heisey, a copywriter by trade, says it was a natural fit to join up with Gee, an art director, and he’s excited about working at an agency that is so strong on both the brand and retail sides of advertising.
