Thompson Minwax, a marketer of wood refinishing products, has launched a two-month national tour of 15 cities that includes nearly 400 in-store demonstrations of do-it-yourself projects.
Wood finishing professional Bob Russell and a team of trained experts will begin the tour in Ontario in stores such as Cashway, Lansing BuildAll and Home Depot.
Thousands of free copies of Wood Beautiful magazine and copies of Tips, a guide to wood finishing, will be distributed during the tour.
Advertising will be done locally, specific to each location.
