Suzuki consolidates at Padulo

Suzuki Canada has consolidated its entire corporate, dealer, direct and collateral business with Padulo Integrated of Toronto, an assignment estimated at more than $6 million.

Suzuki has handled advertising in-house since splitting with Harrod & Mirlin in December 1993.

Padulo will begin working on the account immediately, with most work throughout the spring and summer on the dealer side, followed by a heavy corporate campaign in the fall to launch new models.

Suzuki’s flagship brand is its Sidekick sports utility vehicle which was complemented last fall with the launch of its Sidekick Sport four-door, top-of-the-line model.

Its entry level car is the three-door Swift hatchback.

In 1995 Suzuki launched two new brands: Esteem, its first five passenger family car and X90, a second sports utility vehicle.

Padulo had worked on another car account, the Ontario Honda Dealers, until earlier this year. It is now with Toronto-based Brandon & Reynolds.
